OH man where to start!
As I was looking at my blog I realized that I haven't had a post since February. I do apologize for that. My life these days has gotten pretty crazy. I had mentioned before I am expecting baby number 4 later this summer. Eek! What were we thinking?! Anyways, I had been sick for awhile and now I'm mostly tired.
As some of you may know I work outside the home full time so that takes a big chunk of my day from the things that I would love to be doing. I love to sew, craft and just be with my kiddos.
Back in September I had asked my father-in-law to building me a desk for my sewing machine. I had been using a folding picnic table from Wal-mart for several years and thought that it was time to upgrade to something a little bit more sturdy. Well for Christmas he surprised me with the finished desk. Yes it took him 4 months to build it, but he also works full time and was doing it on his spare time. He's the best and I love him for taking the time to make sure that it was just perfect for me. Well since December I've sat down at my machine once. ONCE peoples! That was to finally sew on my son's Scout merit badges onto his sash. Oh dear! (insert disappointed emoji smiley face . . LOL)
Each day as I come up the stairs I see my beautiful desk with my machine and long to just sit for hours making something. But alas, one of children, or husband has called me to help them with something or another. I have several projects on hold that I would love to finish. One day they will be completed.
I have put my oil business to the side for now. I still post on FB and Instagram but haven't held a class in months. Don't get me wrong I love essential oils and I hope to have tutorials and videos up soon with those.
I have also started a new venture with Younique. I love make up and beauty. I'm trying to push ahead with this business. If you follow me on social media you've seen my posts. I have some videos in the works and hope to have those up soon.
I just wish I had more time for all the things I want to do. Sometimes I have to put things on the back burner for the more important things. Sorry this may sound like a whiny post, but I wanted to get real with you. I'm excited for later this year as I get closer to my due date, because then that means I have 4 months of maternity leave to get things done! Right now, I'm going to try to do a little at a time. I have so many things to share.
I'm going to try to have more posts in the coming weeks. Just bare with me as I try to work out the kinks with my expanding life.
