Here's what they looked like as I was rolling them out.

- 4 cups flour (white or whole wheat)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp lard or Crisco
- 2 cups water
- In medium bowl mix flour, salt, and baking powder. Then mix in the lard until it has been blended in. Add water and mix until the dough comes together. Place on a lightly floured area and knead for a few minutes until smooth and elastic. Then divide into small balls.
- Preheat a skillet over med-high heat. Roll the balls into thin, round tortillas. Then place onto hot skillet, cook until bubbly and golden brown. Then flip until other side is golden brown.
