Rosette Ball

As I was blog surfing some of my favorite craft blogs I came across 2 of which had at some point or another created a Rosette Ball, House of Smith and The Idea Room. I thought it was fun a cute way to create something for my for home. So I got to work. Since this was my first attempt I only made one so please forgive me if it looks somewhat, um, lumpy and flat.

Here are the colors and supplies that I got.

I got 2 different sizes and bought only the red crepe paper, the yellow and white were left over from the baby shower I just hosted. Those styrofoam balls are not cheap! Really $4.50 for one? Lucky I had 2 50% coupons to Joann's for this weekend. SCORE!!

At first I was a little confused as how to start out. Then I got the hang of it. Here are my first 2 roses. Not bad right?

Here is my progress.

And the final result!

To find the tutorials you can go here and here. Now onto my next 2. Hopefully those will turn out a little bit better.
